RGV recently used social networking sites Twitter and Facebook to share his opinion about Congress party’s defeat and BJP’s victory in Lok Sabha polls. He appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech made during Parliamentary party meeting on 20th May and compared former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with Zombie.
Director Ram Gopal Varma has around 868 thousand followers on twitter and 563 thousand likes on his Facebook page. He is considered close to several congress leaders including former Union Minister and actor Chiranjeevi who is planning to cross over to the BJP.
RGV surprised everyone on May 20th when criticized the Congress party and Manmohan Singh by saying that the country was ruled by a dead Prime Minister for ten years.
The Director of 1998’s superhit movie- Satya, also termed Congress party’s vice president Rahul Gandhi as “Congress ki aag” and suggested that the 44 year old MP from Amethi should join Roshan Taneja’s institute to learn acting.
RGV’s recent tweet about Rajnikant’s breast attracted lot of criticism from Rajni’s fans. He was also in the limelight during first week of May when he compared Congress party’s general secretary Digvijaya Singh and Amrita Rai with SRK and Kajol from DDLJ.
