Cyber Journal 24, October 13, 2016
As pointed out by some research scholars, a startup is basically an idea that has the potential to be converted into successful services, products with minimum investment. Human Resource plays a key role at various stages in success or failure of any given startup. In order to discuss the importance and various aspects of the Human Resource, 111 Startups had recently organized an event.
Mentors, investors, and enthusiasts from more than 75 startups attended this event that took place on October 1, 2016. The event started with interactive networking and refreshments session. Entrepreneurs as well as those on their way to turn entrepreneurs used this opportunity to share ideas, problems, and solutions for a variety of issues.
The second session was conducted by Vikrant Bhujbalrao, the head for 111 Startups. He interacted with participants and shared about 111 Startups and the not-for-profit approach. He also shared some interesting facts about the reasons behind failure of startups.
Should any given startup hire and pay skyrocketing salaries of delivery boys, or should the startup outsource its deliveries to the hyperlocal B2B players? Taking such decisions can be complicated. This is what the third session during the event was focused on.
Ashok Bildikar took time and shared his experience about startups, the importance of HR at different stages of startups, and spoke extensively about HR outsourcing.
The last part of the event was Q and A, about HRO, as well as a brainstorming session. Keep visiting the site for videos from the event.
