Writer, producer Shabbir Boxwala is in the limelight these days as his next film-Ishq Forever (IF) is all set to be released on February 19th. Mr. Boxwala recently interacted with journalist Nitten Gokhaley and shared some interesting details about his upcoming film.
Along with newcomers Krishna Chaturvedi, Ruhi Singh, IF also features Lisa Ray and Javed Jaffrey in important roles. This is Lisa’s comeback to Bollywood after winning brave fight against cancer.
While sharing details about his experience as producer, Shabbir Boxwala said-“Lisa is returning to films after her illness. She is a dear friend and I had planned to cast her in Dil Ka Rishta as well. But, due to some reasons, it did not work out. I am really glad that finally I am working with her, she is a fabulous human being.”
Just like Shabbir’s earlier movies (as writer) like Mohra, Gupt, and Dil Ka Rishta, even Ishq Forever has a lot of twists and turns according to the writer. It’s not a straight love story.
Movie’s USP is its music, freshness of the cast, engaging script, and stunning visuals from South Africa. IF is directed by Sameer Sippy, produced by Shabbir Boxwala, Harry Gandhi, and Ajay Shah.
Ishq Forever has already generated excitement because of Nadeem Saifee’s music. Movie’s title track teaser released on December 13th received good response from music lovers.
Back to save music
“I am a big fan of Nadeem’s music. Ishq Forever offers Nadeem’s melody combined with today’s sounds” –said Mr. Boxwala who has also worked with Nadeem-Shravan in Dil Ka Rishta as producer.
Nadeem Saifee from Nadeem-Shravan duo does not need any introduction. Thanks to his catalogue of more than 1000 hit songs. Ishq Forever is his first film as solo composer. Lyricist Sameer has penned songs for IF, and its music is said to be an important aspect of the film.
Ishq Forever’s orchestration is expected to be amazingly timeless. Zee Music Company has purchased music rights for IF, and music will probably release on 29th December.
These days, music channels are flooded with songs composed by half-baked musicians who seem to be unaware even about the basics of good composition.
2015s first caressingly created musical gem was Anu Malik’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Like Anu Malik, even Nadeem Saifee’s deep knowledge about Indian music cannot be challenged.
Ishq Forever would perhaps offer relief to music lovers who have been waiting for “true melody”. Nadeem’s music would definitely prove to be above songs composed by rookies whose songs are often used by farmers to drive away wild animals from their fields.
The film is set to be released on 19th February. This is also sort of comeback movie for music director Viju Shah who has worked on IF’s background music.
