Udayanraje spoke about several issues while interacting with public. He suggested that Ajit Pawar and Sunil Tatkare are accused of corruption, and they should themselves answer questions raised by the anti-corruption bureau instead of sending their lawyers.

The Member of Parliament from Satara pointed out that these days farmers in Maharashtra are suffering due to lack of rain. The situation would have been different in case if the previous congress-NCP government would have really constructed dams and water reservoirs instead of wasting money in irrigation scam.

Mr. Bhosale urged the government to help farmers by waving their loans, electricity bills, and helping their children by paying expenses related to their education. He shared details about his plans to meet the state’s chief minister Devendra Fadvnis to discuss farmers’ issues.

Reports suggest that around Rs. 35000 crore of taxpayers’ money was lost in irrigation scam, and it involves top leaders from Sharad Pawar’s party- NCP. Experts believe that the details about this scam and names of politicians involved in corruption did not make it in headlines due to lack of mainstream media’s attention.

Udayanraje Bhosale has thousands of fan followers in Maharashtra as he is King Shivaji Maharaj’s 13th indirect descendant. He does not hesitate to criticize his own party men accused of corruption. But even Mr. Bhosale has been accused of land grabbing in the past.
