Stone pelting incident reported near Khadki station on Monday

Two bike riders pelted stones on PMPML bus near Khadki railway station. PMPML’s bus MH12 FC 3288 was travelling from Nigdi to Kothrud depo. The incident took place on Monday between 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM. Fortunately, no one was injured in this attack. PMPML’s conductor Swapnil Vaidya interacted with media persons and shared some details about this incident.

Driver Manya Londhe was driving this bus belonging to PMPML’s Kothrud depo. The conductor was Narayan Tomke. Swapnil was also travelling in this bus, as he was returning home after completing his shift.

While sharing more information about attackers, Swapnil said that he ran behind their bike to catch them, but they were too fast. They also threw a bear bottle on the road. They were shouting “Ambedekar Zindabad” slogans, and were carrying some blue color flag.

Swapnil also said that these two boys had covered their face with handkerchief. He was not able to note the concerned bike’s number. The driver and conductor of this bus did not report this matter to the police, as their seniors did not allow them to do so.
