North Korea had managed to remain in headlines during the last month due to its hydrogen bomb test. The country is back in headlines since Sunday due to its launch of satellite. North Korea faced strong reaction from the U.N. Security Council during the last two days.

Now, reports suggest that the US is all set to deploy missile defense system called-Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD).  The system can intercept missiles in flight and can shoot down missiles at very high altitude.

Officials from the Pentagon are believed to be willing to deploy this system in South Korea within few weeks. Countries like Russia and China are not happy about this decision because this system can also shoot down their missiles within the system range.
